PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Ecco was releasing their new BIOM range, which was built with innovative cushioning technology. They needed four films highlighting different aspects of the BIOM technology.

I worked on three of the four films. Building all of the simulations for the Gortex Waterproof film and Breathe-thru Cushioning film.

I built a knit simulation, originally made for the Gortex Breathe-thru film, but it was cut towards the end of production.

Ecco Breathe-thru Cushioning. The cushioning is built from splines converted into volumes that compress as the shoe pushes down.
