Justin Peck’s Heatscape was debuting in New York at The New York City Ballet. The ballet itself is set to Bohuslav Martinů’s Piano Concerto No. 1, and the New York edition featured a mandala inspired backdrop by artist Shepard Fairey. The NYCB was looking to create a campaign trailer video to promote Heatscape's debut, which would capture the drama of the choreography.

I worked on several simulations including the text disintegration, central face formation and detail formations.
